Hi, have you checked out duckduckgo as a browser? I'm using it as my primary browser with good results. Privacy is the main selling feature - Google isn't grabbing your data via this browser and DDG uses it's own search engine that is almost as good as google search.

But Chrome just added split tab view. Have you used it? It allows you to view two webpages side by side within one tab. It's very handy. I compare info all the time, and switching between two tabs is routine for me and a waste of time. You can ask Chrome to do a tutorial and show you how to use split tab. Just right click on a tab and split tab will be one of the menu selections.
